GOT QUESTIONS?

Frequently asked questions.

Is TruxPylot free for customers?

Yes. Browsing the marketplace and requesting a professional is free. When a job is paid through TruxPylot, you pay the price you agreed. TruxPylot adds no fee of its own; Paystack’s payment processing charge is added at checkout and shown before you pay.

What do professionals pay?

A one-time ₦1,000 verification review fee (non-refundable), and a 0% commission on jobs paid through TruxPylot. Premium (₦15,000, one-time) and Instant Adverts are optional.

How are professionals verified?

Professionals upload identity or trade documents, and the TruxPylot team reviews them. Approved profiles carry the TruxPylot Verified badge; newer profiles are labelled “Not yet verified”, and you can search for verified professionals only. Verification confirms the documents were reviewed; it is not a guarantee of workmanship.

How does payment work?

Request → Quote → Pay → Work → Delivery → Confirmation → Payout. You pay the accepted quote through Paystack, and the professional is paid only after the job is confirmed complete and TruxPylot releases the payout. You can cancel for a full refund until work starts.

What if something goes wrong with a job?

Use “Report a problem” on the job before the payout is released. No payout is made while TruxPylot reviews it, and our Customer Service team will contact you.
